Standards Compliance
  • All pages on this site validate as XHTML 1.0 Transitional. To validate the home page please visit http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=www.aitspatial.co.uk%2Fdefault.aspx
  • All pages on this site use hand coded semantic structured markup. For example: lists, headings, paragraphs etc are marked up using the correct tags. One of the many benefits of this approach is that screen readers such as JAWS can understand the content well thus improving navigability for appropriate users.
Visual Implementation
  • The site uses relative font sizes. This means that the font size can be increased or decreased depending on the size selected by the user. To wlter the size in Internet Explorer use the Text Size sub-menu in the View menu.
  • The site uses cascading style sheets to implement the graphic design. It is set up in such a way that if your browser does not fully support this technology or you have this feature disabled, the information will still be displayed in a readable format.
